Festival Info

Redcliffe Festival of Sails is held from 9am to 4pm on Good Friday, 15 April, 2022 at Suttons Beach Park, Redcliffe.

No. Entry is FREE to Redcliffe Festival of Sails.

No. Redcliffe Festival of Sails is a free entry event and Queensland Governments regulations state you do not need to be vaccinated to attend. We will be implementing a number of Covid-safe practices around the event.

Yes. Although permitted we suggest leaving your furry friends at home. If you decide to bring your dog, they must be always kept on a leash.

Yes! A number of ATM’s will be placed across the festival precinct for your convenience.

Restricted or banned items include:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Pepper spray/mace
  • Alcohol
  • Illicit Substances
  • Fireworks and Flares
  • Glass bottles
  • Any other items deemed to be unsuitable by event staff

Any person or persons found within the event area in the possession of any of the above items will be removed from the site.

A parents room is located at the toilet block nearby the Northern Food Court. A secondary parents room run by Redcliffe Uniting Church is also located in Market Alley behind the Pop-up Ice Cream Festival.

No. There are no cloak room facilities at Redcliffe Festival of Sails

Additional portable toilets will be sourced for the event and displayed in three prominent banks within the event site. An accessible toilet will also be available at each toilet block.

Each toilet bank will be serviced throughout the event’s duration by a cleaning attendant to ensure additional COVID-Safe cleanliness.

No. Alcohol is not permitted at the festival.

Yes, patrons are welcome to bring their own food into the festival. There will however be two food courts packed with delicious food vendors onsite.

If you've lost an item during the day at Redcliffe Festival of Sails, please head to the information tent. If the item is not there, we ask that you leave your phone number with staff and a description of the lost item. We often come across lost property after the event has closed for the day.

Lost property is kept by Redcliffe Festival of Sails staff at their Head Office at 433 Elizabeth Ave, Kippa-Ring, QLD, for a period of four weeks. Please call 07 3453 1400 to see if we have found your lost item.

Redcliffe Festival of Sails will go ahead unless we advise otherwise on the website, email or via social media.

Redcliffe Festival of Sails is a smoke free event, we ask all patrons wishing to smoke to please do so outside of the event space.

Redcliffe Festival of Sails will be operated in accordance with Queensland Government and Queensland Health regulations pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic and its status at the time of the event. For more information about COVID Safety head to our Stay COVID Safe page here.

Qualified First Aid Officers will be available during event times. There will be two first aid tents at the festival. One located at southern most entry to the event site and the second Located next to the information tent in the centre of the event site. If you feel unwell at any time during the event, inform a member of staff or a First Aid Officer who will make safe arrangements for you to be checked over.
